I hope not, but i can't get to it anymore. I know there was supposed to be a new site design initiated, but with the webmaster's 3 sudden disappearances from the site (the last of which is still unexplained), could the site be dead? The Dojo's gone now, and Mag2 is all but dead...

I hope not. The messageboards would be no great loss (except for those of you who enjoy watching stupidity run rampant) but the actual news and databse were fantastic!

I would greatly depressed if it vanished on us! MtgNews was a wonderful site... DG seemed ok, I presume this is a normal server crash, like StarCity last Friday, but still.

And I _like_ those boards! :) They're nothing compared to here, but they can be absolutely hilarious when Dan Heart starts claiming to a be a three-time Pro Tour champ. I mean, I don't get laughs like that ANYWHERE else!

*Gasp* No Zadok! That can't be true! Don't shatter my illusions of reality and say that Dan Heart is not a god! Take it back, and maybe he will forgive your transgression!

...okay, that was too sarcastic even for me. :D

Not so much as if MTGnews shuts down, it's database is nearly as good, and it has many other redeeming factors. Not the messageboards, though. *shudder* Never the message boards.

Honestly, I'm still in mourning the death of The Dojo. Yavapai Open won't make much of a mark....

Yavapai Open will leave a glaring gap where it exits.

It's the ONLY place where you can count on seeing what the card looks like you are wondering about.

It's a resource that will never be replaced complety...

That is, uless somone can perchase it and keep it going well...
