Warcraft 3 - BETA sign-up is at 11:00 PST - Lancer
Thats right folks, the time we have all been waiting for is finally here. The Warcraft 3 BETA signup has arrived. Only 5,000 people from the US or Canada will be chosen for the honors. The odds are small but someone somewhere will surely get the BETA. This is right from the Blizzards site.

The moment you've been waiting for has arrived! Starting at 11:00 pm PST on Monday, January 7th you will be able to sign up for the Warcraft III beta test.Testers are not chosen on a first come, first served basis, so take your time when filling out the application. Before submitting, please double-check to make sure you list a permanent address and email address and that both are correct. We will not be able to update or change information on your applications after you've submitted them. Also, please note that multiple entries from the same household will result in complete disqualification. Please do not contact us regarding the status of your application. The signup period will last from 11:00 pm PST Monday, January 7th until 11:00 pm PST on Friday, January 11th. We'll notify selected beta testers by email sometime within the next several weeks. For any additional beta-related concerns, please read the Beta FAQ. Thanks for signing up and good luck!

After the BETA is out for a week or so expect a huge amount of new information. It will take some time for us to go over all of it but very soon this site will be up and running with full speed. The game should be released within 3-4 months so cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Yup, I signed up for beta testing last night too...I signed up for Diablo II and D2 Exp testing, but they no-a-picka-me...

The beta test signup runs from Monday thru Friday. There is no reason to rush, as it's clearly stated that the accounts are not being given on a first-come, first-served basis.

I signed up for the Diablo 2 beta too but I was actually picked to test. I hope that gives me an extra edge in there selection...
