Ideas for all common B/U deck (type two)

My idea is to make an all common B/U deck and see how good it does against other decks at my local shop, the deck will have card drawing/ counterspelling/ discard/ creature destruction, it will kill with creatures.

Here's some cards I've thought of.
Snuff Out
Nightscape Apprentice
Undertaker
Ravenous Rats
Rathi Intimidator
Despoil
Counterspell
Prohibit
Accumulated Knowledge
Brainstorm
Probe
Cloudskate
Spiketail Hatchling
Waterfront Bouncer
Stinging Barrier
Vodialian Zombie
Recoil

Anyone have any other suggestions? Remember, it must be COMMON.

Hmmm, commons, eh? Darting Merfolk is a good creature, and it's hard to kill. There is also Cloudskate, Cloud Sprite, and Vendetta. That's about all I could offer you...for now anyway.

...you seem to have a "habit" of giving out decklists to those who are asking for help. Please don't do that, it "discourages" the needy.

SS, Highway Robber also comes in mind. How about a "fun" deck with Ravenous Rats, Highway Robbers, and Undertaker? Also included Vodalian Traders, and basically, all those common "come into play" creatures, they're all good.

Ahem. Nightscape Apprentice, to put it bluntly, sucks terribly. Play with Stormscape. That said and done, on to other ideas.

Hate Weaver: Any deck with blue creatures and having black deserves this guy. Not only is he a 2/1 for 2cc, he provides much needed muscles with your excess mana. Play with at least 2.

Vodalian Zombie: Stops Blastoderm. 'Nuff said. 4 is highly recommended.

Counterspell, Power Sink and Prohibit: These are the best 3 common counters available in T2.

Opt: Some say it's better than Branstorm. I'll let you decide. Other common card-drawers include Accumulated Knowledge (play with 4 or none at all) and Gush.

Fairy Squadron/Rishadan Airship: The best heavy-hitting blue common fliers out there. Combine them with the quicker Cloud Sprite for maximum effect.

Spiketail Hatchling: This is one of the most irritating weenies I know. It flies, and ALWAYS makes your opponent think twice.

Duel: So you are recommending more bounce and countering? Sounds solid to me.

Duke: I like the Darting Merfolk, they would make excellent blockers, and the Highway Robbers are in since they would go well with a little combo, speaking of the combo...

Purple_jester: I'm thinking of useing the Nigtscape Apprentice to combo with the Ravenous Rats, Cloudskate, and the Highway Robbers. Unfortunatly the Hate Weaver is uncommon, the Airship is in since the Squadron has a double-blue casting cost when kickered.

Lots of tempo control and big, black creatures make for short games.

For multiplayer, I'd recommend something like this:

A little slower, it allows you to take more control and really work your opponents over by drawing a lot of cards.

Another good Counterspell: Exclude. Extremely good in the new creature-ish environment.

Probe is WAY good in U/B. Pay the kicker, and it has the potential to change the entire outlook of the board.
Nakaya Shade is also pretty strong, especially when paired with Bog Initiate.
