IBC: lets see if this works?

Probably not.

Still trying to make an IBC Warped Devotion deck.
This one is quite a bit different from My first attempt. My first one was to slow to deal with fast creature rush, this one has a lot more early drops. Hopefully it will be able to chump block and evade long enough to get the combo out.
All comments welcome.

I think you are going the wrong way about beating the aggressive decks. Simply dropping your mana curve won`t really achieve very much. The way to do it is to trade with them early, thus guaranteeing the game lasts long enough for your late-game power cards to overwhelm them.

Rough idea:

4 Prohibit
2 Barrin`s Unmaking
4 Recoil
4 Undermine
4 Wash Out

4 Vodalian Zombie
2 Urborg Emissary
3 Waterspout Elemental

4 Fact Or Fiction
2 Probe

4 Warped Devotion

4 Salt Marsh
8 Swamp
12 Island

Curve:
1cc-
2cc- **********
3cc- **************
4cc- ********
5cc- *****

(taking Emissary as 3cc, Probe as 5cc, Elemental as 5cc, Prohibit as 2cc).

Possibly missing 2 Spite/Malice from the deck.

Quick question:

Wouldn't Repulse or Planar Overlay be better than Barrin's Unmaking, especially in a deck *full* of bounce?

U1
or
U2?

It makes the difference when you have so much at 3cc already. Not only does it mean you might not have a 2cc cast, but on turn 5 you might struggle to play a 3cc and a 2cc and regain the crucial tempo advantage. I`d not want to be playing second and holding a Repulse against a fast deck, by the time I`m ready to cast it I`m halfway dead, and I`m tapped out castig it so I can`t Undermine.

Point taken. I just thought the card was too narrow to fit in the deck, and that Planar Overlay would be a better choice against any Domain decks out there.
