How rare are magiccards?

Can you use MTGO for this? They allow you to look up cards from ALL sets that were ever printed and they allow you to filter by rarity. I've not tried this, but I imagine that if it's possible, this would be the easiest way to get the results...

MTGO has card lists from all sets? I thought it just had sets from whenever MTGO started (and thus could play with). Although now thinking about it, I think this came up before and someone said it was maybe in case they decided to "release" the older sets.
