Control is the codename, not the actual types of decks that will be built (i. e. Blue :D)

I misinterpreted it then... I thought he was hinting that blue may "come back" or that it's turn to shine....

First of all, yeah, the block is only the "control" block in as much as Mirrodin was the "Bacon" block. Also, 10 years of dominacne isn't counterbalanced by a year and a half of hosing. Even when blue "comes back," it won't be as powerful as it once was. It'll be rebalanced according to how they want the color wheel to work. Good card-drawers will be sorceries, good counterspells will cost 3, and that's just the way it's gonna be.

Wouldn't mind seeing a return of Dissipate.

In case you don't remember (and you probably don't)...

Dissipate (1UU)
Instant
Counter target spell and remove it from the game.

Oft-forgotten Mirage uncommon. I used to swear by it in my Type 1 deck.

Synchopate works well, Isty, just nowhere near as well as a true Dissipate. :D

Control-Alt-Delete is the 2005 codename set. I hope it doesn't tie in (like Boron did with purple artwork) or else we may really have good reason to call the 8E borders "Magic XP"
