Has anyone ever heard of Threads of Fate???

It's a very weird game my brother got for some reason (I don't know why) for the PS made by SquareSoft. It's a very strange combination of a platform game and an RPG. I'm not sure whether I like it or not, but actually that isn't the point of this thread.

There is one character in this game named Duke. He occasionally enjoys showing off to the girls, and at one point is called "Dukey" by one of them. Does this sound like anyone we know???
