It's easier if you use an IRC client.

#type-random on newnet, if you are able.

I'm pretty sure it will be a Bad Thing if I download and install software.

Plus, I don't know if it will work with the proxy server AND firewall and all the protective networking stuff. I have Apprentice but I'm pretty sure I can't dial out to play someone (haven't tried recently though).
