explanation of a ponza

everyday i read what people think a ponza deck is and i just dont like seeing the misconceptions.
ive been using red control decks for as long as i can remember and know it as well as anybody can.
hope this clears up something, its red control.

Ponza started out big and expensive, jamie wakefields original used 4cc creatures, burn started at 2cc and it had a haups/bogarden pheonix thing going for it.

All of the decks that followed used wildfires,at least 1 apoc somewhere, and muiltiple disks. The rest of the deck was like a utility bet of sorts with pilages, avalanche riders, vaishino heretics, molten hydras, and if it worked for you goblin welders.
drop a bomb and dish for finish.

the best examples of this type of deck is vegetarian ponza, which is in the deck histories on the dojo, and kai budde`s mono-brown wildfire deck.

62 cards,26 lands and BIG=good
thats the ponza

Most ponza now is a misnomer. Most ponza now is Wildfire, which is a stretch on ponza, though my wildfire deck is largely ponza-ish.
