I just thought this deck up. I won't be able to build it for a while as I don't have any Carinval of Souls or Vampiric Tutors. Take a look.

my friend had a deck like this
add in ... i don't know what it is called... it makes you draw from you graveyard instead of your library and you lose when you can't, a great card to donnate, and any card that would go to the graveyard instead is removed from the game... the clock is ticking... and i know it's sixth

If you intend to Donate Carnival of Souls, you really should have a reliable way to generate scads of creatures, otherwise, you are relying on your opponent to kill himself.

Black's constant generators include Breeding Pit, and to a lesser extent, Sengir Autocrat. I find the Carnival of Souls-Donate trick works best in a deck with Deranged Hermits and Verdant Forces (and lots of dual lands). Artifacts that generate creatures can work too -- Monkey Cage, Snake Basket, Hornet Cannon, The Hive (when was the last time you played with that card?), and Snake Generator.

You might want to consider Donating Thoughlash as well.
