Finally, someone is hitting on my wife. I wondered how long it would take you guys and I guess I kinda encouraged it in her new member thread. I just dont advise getting too fresh with her. She might bite off your head and drink your blood and there is nothing I can do to stop her when she gets like that.

Anyhow, Concerts I have been to:

Metallica
Tesla/Firehouse
Def Leppard Twice :(
White Zombie/Korn/Deftones
Ozzy/Korn/Toadies/Super Suckers
Coal Chamber/Slipknot/Dope
Coal Chamber/Dead Lights/Full Devil Jacket/Type O negative
Nine Inch Nails/Perfect Circle
Ratt/Megadeth/Slayer
Pink Floyd :)
Aerosmith/Jackyl
Great White
Motley Crue/ZZ Top at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally :)

Have you ever been to a concert?

I saw Dave Matthews Band, The Goo Goo Dolls, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and on December 15th I'm going to a music festival with Coldplay, Seether, Queens of the Stone Age, Newfound Glory, Good Charlotte, and Zwan.*

*-Zwan is a new band that almost no one knows of..or at least they don't think they do. It consists of 5 members of now-defunct alt rock bands:

Paz Lenchantin from A Perfect Circle (Bass)
Dave Pajo from Slint (Guitar)
Matt Sweeney from Chavez (Guitar)
and of course...
Jimmy Chamberlin from the Smashing Pumpkins (Drums)
and
Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins (Vocals+Guitar)

I love the Smashing Pumpkins, so I'm really exited to see Billy and Jimmy in their new band.

Have any of you ever gone to really good concerts?..or really bad ones, lol?

I wouldn't mind seeing Zwan. Jimmy is an awesome drummer.

I am/was also a big Smashing Pumpkins fan. I saw them in 1998 during the Adore tour.

I didn't see any concerts for a while, and then since this summer I've seen:
Ozzfest (Otep, Soil, Meshuggah, Hatebreed, Rob Zombie, System of a Down, Ozzy, a bunch of others)
Live (decent show, crowd kinda sucked though :))
Mudvayne (with Depswa, 40 Below Summer, and some other local band)

Can't wait for next years Ozzfest! :D

Oh, and APC isn't defunct. They have a new album coming out I believe.

I guess Paz just left the band, then?

What was wrong with the crowd at the Live concert?

The only concert I've been to was Anthrax... With Judas Priest.

In an abandoned Movie Theatre that had the seats ripped out.
And a ton of drunks throwing bottles at each other.

Anthrax was good, though...

I believe the album was done before Paz started with Zwan. Regardless, APC could still be considered a side project (look at Maynard; Tool's still going strong). I've heard rumblings of APC possibly playing at Ozzfest next year, so if Zwan isn't touring/working on an album, then she could play with APC. (Of course, if she actually quit APC completely, that's a different story.)

The bad crowd at the Live concert probably had more to do with where we were than anything else. We saw them at Musikfest in Allentown (it's relatively close to York, PA). Of course, we only discovered that they were playing less than a week before the concert, so our tickets were way in the back of this field.

I think most of the people in that area only came because they'd heard of Live before or something because they just weren't into it. Had we known about it earlier, we would've gotten better tickets where I'm sure the crowd was better.
