Casual G/B deck

Here's an idea I got while looking through my black cards for my threshold deck: apparently there's a small number of black creatures that destroy blocking creatures (or in the case of The Wretched, take control of them). So I thought perhaps pairing them with Lures/Tempting Licids might be a good idea:

What I have:

Dread Spector
Dread Wight
Greater Werewolf
Plague Fiend
The Wretched
Zombie Boa

Tempting Licid
Lure

I haven't quite fleshed this out yet though...

Pit Spawn is nice - he removes them from the game - and has first strike...

Seton's Desire your pit spawn and attack with him... deal 1 point of dmg to up to 8 creatures and they're all gone from the game...

but I would like to mention something I found while going through piles if you're playing G/B:

Wild Mongrel and Strength of Lunacy - you discard the lunacy to the mongrel and then pay it's madness - During third turn your mongrel could have up to four of these on him and attack for a total of 14 points... now that's nasty...

Putting four of these on him would require all four in hand and then a cabal ritual... tap for BG- for a cabal ritual, then discard all 4 to the mongrel making him a 6/6, then pay their madness and enchant him for a 10/6 creature with +4/+4 until end of turn...

OUCH - and they're enchantments...

How about Bubble Matrix? It won't affect your creatures ability to destroy the other creatures and you won't have to go on suicide missions with your creatures. It will also help against red. The only problem is that you wouldn't be able to use Pit Spawn.

Your deck is pretty contigent on your opponent(s) having creatures. What would be even cooler is to give your opponent a ton of creatures to steal them all with something like Questing Phelddagrif or Varchild's War-Riders.

Well, the people I play with generally have creatures. This could be a single duel deck or a multiplayer deck (more the latter).

No Pit Spawns or Bubble Matrixes or Strength of Lunacy's... 0 for 3 :)

Run Coils of Medusa from weatherlight - its common, with lure or seton's desire...

Infernal medusa - not color picky, at end of combat, non-wall
Death gazer- destroys at end of combat
knight of dusk- can destroy before damage
Plaguebearer- can destroy out of combat
Keeper of the dead - limited by graveyard

The coils of medusa just opens the door for any creature to have this ability.
