Blue Splash: the redemption

Just yesterday I declared that blue was dead, and this was true, from my perspective. I [pretty much play blue as exclusively mono-color. But blue splash is amazing.
Involving cards like opt, soothsaying, fact or fiction, accumulated knowledge, and many others, blue will be thrown into many decks because of the amazing drawing/stacking power invasion and masques give it.

Have you noticed how many good blue spells have only 1 blue component in their casting costs? Fact or Fiction and Opt are sterling examples of this. And that Djinn. (All of those Djinns seem to have been MADE for splashing)

I believe that this is what they're trying to pull here with Invasion. The power of "Mono-decks" supplemented by choice spells from other allied colors. If this is true, then green is going to rule, because it will serve as an excellent multi-color base.
