I was hoping that my sinister trick would work. GBS really did die on November second and really did die at 94 from injuries sustained falling off a ladder. But it was 1950 and not 1955. Unfortunately, everyone either knew too much or too little about GBS for my clever deception to succeed...

Wow, someone actually voted for my answer....2 someones....

Now I am wondering when CGA monitors were invented?

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
1981, but I blanked out when I was answering and thought CGA's were something totally different. If I'd thought about it, I'd have realized 1955 didn't sound right for color monitors. Oh well.
