One of my friends, who is a DCI judge, asked me to help run some of the flights this comming weekend. I can't make any rulings (not certified,...yet) but I get to pass out the decks and keep time, make deck packages and sort land <:(> and get coffee and clean the toilets and go get the real judges lunch (with my own money), but HEY, I'm gettin' some product for helping, whaooey!

Okay, I'm just running some of the flights :)

I didn't ask, I'm trying to be humble. But I think the last time our other non-judge friend helped out he got a half box of Kamigawa boosters. That's approx. $40 for helping do something I love to do any how.

I just re-read the e-mail and it said there's product AND food in it for me. :D

One heck of a time to have started my diet :(

Why is the food at sanctionned events always so lousy? One can only eat so many Cheeto's before their tummy gets upset (thank goodness for card protectors!) and sometimes I want something besides Mountain Dew to drink (not ofen, but sometimes).

Not sure what kind of source of food you're talking about, but it sounds like the organizers so probably because it needs to be cheap to buy to keep costs low. You're not gonna buy jumbo shrimp cocktail for everyone or your workers, that's for sure :)

I can't spell it :(

If I can remember correctly, everyone brings in some kind of food like veggie tray, hot dogs in a crock-pot w/sauerkraut, macaroni salad, huge vat of Coffee, stuff like that. I'll find out for sure tonight.

I'll ask about product as well
