Apprentice?

Here i am again Mr. nobody. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed that the Apprentice website has seem to come to a halt all of a sudden;no updates,no new downloads, no nothing. I wonder if Wotc planned this when they took them over. If apprentice ceases to be what will happen?

I've noticed the same thing, as well. In fact, I e-mailed them a little while ago about mirroring files for them (since I have a dedicated server), but I have yet to receive any sort of reply.

I think I know why Apprentice is going the way of the Dodo: the MTG Interactive Enyclopedia. No one will want to use Apprentice when they can have pictures of all the cards while playing...

Actually, it looks like Dragonstar Studios is redesigning their webpage http://www.dragonstudios.com .

Also, Ferret, I bought the Magic Encyclopedia a little while ago, and I must say I'm quite disappointed. The program is really slow, it's not a regular Windows app, the controls are awkward, and the online play is underfeatured and not even close to the quality of Apprentice. Unless you're looking for all the Magic pictures on a CD, I'd steer clear of this wreck.

Unfortunately I already bought it. Despite the speed problem I like having all the cards. Since it's relatively new I'm hoping I can get into online play before something as big as e-league comes along and makes it impossible to play anything but the "metadecks"...I'll put up w/ the slowness if I know it's a quality product...
