It's still well-worth it. I don't know about being used recently in Vintage games (most decks can run multiple colors and use red damage instead, but it wouldn't surprise me) but it sure is great in casual games, not that I have Psionic Blast, but I've been hit by it...

It's worse than Terror. Removing two black cards in your hand from the game is quite harsh, so hardcasting it is preferable. Terror buries creatures, and this thing doesn't.

Pestilence is fairly balanced. You just have to make sure that a creature remains in play. Protection from black, a little regeneration, or Ogre Enforcer can help with that. This thing is Pestilence on tranquilizers. Why would anyone bother with it when they have the original Pestilence?

This thing would be insanely good. It has first strike, can be pumped (although that it somewhat costly), and hits a player for two poison counters if unblocked. Poison might have done a lot better if this guy had been around. Marsh Viper, at 3G, just isn't the same...

The most decks I've ever had at one time was twelve. Right now, I have zero.

Actually, the potential for this to hit the table on turn one against a control deck (or a deck slowed down by disruption) probably makes it much too powerful.

If I still bought cards, I would totally try this out in a casual deck...
