Mmm, none of the decklists on this thread so far run Survival. I think that's a bit more important...

Not really unique... But whatever... Burn has about zero chance of winning a real Type I tournament, no matter how refined. So there's no way that I would play it for Type I. Hence there's no reason my deck should be Type I legal. I still don't understand why a place called the Casual Players...

I highly doubt Necro will be unrestricted. No one's clamoring for unrestriction because people are scared of it. All they need to point out is that it lets you draw 19 cards any time you want (a gross exaggeration). Also, I am sure that part of it is politics. Necro would enable budget decks to...

Why use the Type I restricted list at all? If your playgroup is as you describe, what you play is so far removed from competitive Type I that its restricted list can't really be applicable? Or would people still try to use things like Balance too much?

But THREE separate Dragon builds almost made it to the top 8. That's pretty close. I don't think you're giving a good deck enough credit. Dragon decks scared people and the deck is the target of a lot of hate, even while not sitting at tier 1. Tier 2 is never a bad spot to be for a deck. Like I...
