Lashknife deck ?

It is probably my casual player side speaking but I cant help thinking that the lashknife barrier could be abused.
First thoughts are of course to go Pestilence, trashing wumpu or plague spitter.

Also in-color it seems that the En-Kor are a great complement to the barrier. The enKors become simply indestructible. (Redirect 1 damage at the time wihch gets annuled by the barrier).
Add in Worship or, even better, Pariah and you almost have a lock.

A deck could enclude some of the en-Kors, pariah, academy rector, lashknife barrier etc..

Problems : surviving the early game, stopping mass removal spells and most imporant : a way on how to kill the opponent.

any thoughts (lets limit ourselves to extended and/or 1.5 environment)?

It is a very rough design... and probably very bad as it stands.

Humility would work wonders. They attack with a bunch of 1/1s , you block some, their creatures die, yours don't.

This would work even better with some kind of token generator, but obviously it can't be on a creature...

The perfect card here is Sacred Mesa. (It wasn't banned with Earthcraft right?)

This deck would require a lot of mana to be used effectively (especially if you intend to use Pestilence). I'm having trouble thinking about how to make this deck a force... Any suggestions?

If uding humility we migh as well stay pure white.

Possible mana acceleartor : serra's sanctum.

Another possible token generator wouuld be Kjeldorian outpost.
