Oh boy, my family and I leave in two days for Disney World for an entire week! My wife and I were there four years ago because I had taken my Marching Band there for a spring trip but this is the first time for my two little ones (10 & 7).

I will NOT be riding on the Tower of Terror or anything the requires me throwing up my lunch. If you're there you can reach me in Frontierland at the House of Presidents where it's air-conditioned despite the *hot air* exuding from those wax figures ;)

Do your little ones like roller coasters?

Have fun...My family used to go there every summer for a week like 7 years in a row (we had a timeshare down in the orlando area); hope the weather is enjoyable and you guys have a great time.

I have no little ones, but really love rollercoasters myself..

Its the only known cure for when I have an upset stomach :)

Make sure you go on Alien Adventure. Its a really interesting experience.

I think we're staying at Cinderelli-ville or something like that :rolleyes:

I expect someone here to pick up my "duties" in my stead. They are:
~reply to threads without having read any of the posts
~always mention large breasted women in your posts
~continually "dodge" any kind of REAL duties here
~start something and not follow up and/or not finish it

I'm BACK! Just flew into Pittsburgh 3 hours ago.

Ten Tips on Disney:
1.) You better be a happy person when you get there because all of the "cast members" are just a bunch-a-joy and damn happy to be there!

2.) Be in shape. (i'm ten lbs. thinner)

3.) You just better get used to hearing "It's a Small World" and I learned something very important about that song, it sucks in ALL languages :(

4.) Use "Fast Pass" as often as you can and then yer hot-oink into some AC

5.) Don't try to 'hit on': Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Arial, Belle, Snow White and especially Jasmin (she's got a temper!) ;)

6.) At the end of the night when the fireworks/parade celebration is going on, start heading for the exit before it ends otherwise you get back to the resort until way after mid-night (and with a ten and seven yr. old, that's really late!)

7.) Drink. Drink as much water as possible (see #2 for more info)

8.) If you're a Disney villian fan (like me) forget it, you will never see the "Mirror-Mirror" witch, Jafar, Ursala, Scar, Cap't. Hook, and the whole rest of them running around the park in charater costumnes.

9.) Eat once a day, snack the rest of it, a full stomachs worth of food slows you down.

10.) You might as well go with the flow if you at all want your experience to end without more suffering. :)

It's good to be back!
