You Make the Card: Wasteland Minotaur

[Force of Will Smith]

since most minotaurs are 3/3 or 4/4s for the bad ones... black is usually offensive.. so this one will be a 4/3..

everything else is fair game, and im trying to not make him a legend.

Any thoughts?

Since "Wasteland" evokes something to do with lands, either a destroy land effect ala Demonic Hordes or turn a land into a swamp (since it's black).

Perhaps make it a 4/3 for BB, with
"When ~ comes into play, sacrifice it unless you sacrifice a non-basic land"

This would drive up the value of the black chk legendary land, Shizo i think.

would that be too insane though? 1 land for a 4/3? how about a legendary land, or 2 nonbasic.. that would make him playable only after like turn 3-4

althought it might be cool to implement evil presence... as it's never played...
may an obsolete card good...

Playable and flavorful = good card

k.. i was debating to give him haste or first strike.. but a 4/ firststriker is insane... and haste maybe hurts you once.. could i get away with making him first strike at this cost?

i originally thought red.. but he definately looks black.. the idea of making it colorless fits as well.. but i wanted to make it usuable with swampwalk creatures as well..

Maybe hes gold, Red for minotaur and haste. Black for art.

I think a 4/3 haste for only 3B is a bit too impressive.. and a cool ability to boot?
Perhaps, to incorporate the swampwalk idea:

When TM comes into play, target land becomes a swamp.
