"Psychic Venom has great synergy with Port, Mana Short, Tangle Wire, and Miscalculation. Several times I've just Ported people out with a Psychic Venom. It's also fun to play on an opposing Port!"

I like that second one... The synergy that Mana Leak and Pyschic Venom add make all the difference in the world. It looks like it would have trouble with permanents, though. Perhaps consider a Rishdan pirate or two, of whatever type best fits the mana curve. They combine nicely with the Tides, forcing an opponent to sack a more annoying permanent instead of land. This also seems like the type of deck that would benifit immensely from card drawing of some kind. Perhaps Accumulated Knowledge or Brainstorm? It lets you get to the threats the deck will be lacking late in the game.

Aargh!
I can`t get away from this deck, no matter where I turn.
I`ve been designing the deck with Will on e-mail for the past two months. The CPA was my last best hope for escape, but now even that has been taken from me.
