Walking a Sorrowful Path

Sorrow's Path...some have said it is the worst card in Magic. Some know it isn't even the worst land card in the Dark.

You could make a decent deck with this card. For free, and uncounterable, you get to screw blocking decisions. But, you do have to lose a land drop...no biggie. Play Sorrow's Path later on anyway, after you've got creatures and on a turn you need to rearrange blockers. But there's one more problem...sorrow's path kicks you and your creatures for two each. This can easily be ignored, by using lifegain and creatures to which 2 damage is little importance. So, with this in mind, Sorrow's Path can be playable. So let's do it.

Ok. Say you cast Reins of Power, attack with their guys, prevent them from blocking in a way that will kill your guys, while simultaneously dealing 2 colorless, uncounterable damage to each of their creatures. Sounds like a good start.

So, to make this deck possible, you need creatures that can't block, but are offensively threatening enough to make your opponent hold back to block.

Juggernaut works.

Also, to further break Sorrow's Path, you need Cho-Manno with Pariah.

To smooth out the mana, we will add Astrolabe.

Since we need more creatures, we must add Cockatrice.
Since we need even more creatures, we must add Basalt Golem.

Now, for the kill method. We can use Helm of Obedience.
Now, for another way to deal with problems...Mystic Snake.

Sideboard is standard stuff to punish people who play stupid decks.
