"Ken Ellison sent this deck in response to a post on the Internet. Ken said he had quite a bit of success using the Sea of Fire in a number of local tournaments he participated in. The deck uses the Uthden Trolls and Clay Statues to beat on opponents after a Disk is blown. After the Disk goes off, all of an opponent's creatures will be cleaned of the board, but the Statues and the Uthden Trolls will simply regenerate. Then during their controller's turn they and the Mishra's Factories can simply attack without anything to block them.
The Disintegrates and Incinerates help to remove an opponent's regenerators that may remain to pose some sort of threat and, of course to knock out an opponent.
Originally Ken said he had a number of problems with fast creature decks. It was suggested he add Unsummons and Earthquakes to his sideboard. He was particularly happy with the results and made them a permanent addition.
The Sea of Fire also has two surprise cards. These are the Twiddle and the Blood Lust. Ken said he had won many games with them because his opponents just were not expecting to see them. Sometimes you can cast one early in the game and your opponent assumes that you have four of them and will make decisions accordingly."
