How did you do that? ALT codes never seemed to work on the CPA...
He probably used Microsoft Word.
When I was looking through the fonts of Word I found a font called "Magicsymbols" it really has the actual magic symbols!!
I didn't use word, I used the alt codes.
Those are what my characters look like when I post on the CPA. At least when I write them in Russian.

Thats the font used in Appretice to make the color symbols on the top of the cards.

Are You using the numeric key pad the enter the code? i.e. (alt)(numeric key pad 128)
Ç (129)ü (130)é (131)â (132)ä (133)à
You could enter them like this:
(Ü)Ü (Ý)Ý (Þ)Þ (ß)ß (à)à
I tried it using the numbers on top of the letters and it didn't work, let me try using the number pad:
