new suggestion

This may have gotten lost below, but I was wondering if someone (Ed?) can make a way to tell that there have been new replies to articles on the articel page. I guess a lightbulb or something. That way one doesn't have to dig into every article again to check if there have been new posts there.

Speaking of articles, is there a way to submit without using the online form?
And no, I don't want to just cut-and-paste.
I tend to use some formatting for emphasis, and I was just wondering if a .txt or .doc file could be sent and get posted.
