This card is seriously underrated, and I think it might be extremely useful in Extended in the right deck.
  2. train The Wildcard!!!...

Before Mirage left - I ran Ersatz gnomes just because some idiot at the local shop abused the maze...

Needless to say - they helped but were useless any other time...
  3. Nightstalkers Creature — Nightstalker

what about those puny mana vortex and the like that you get today?

we cannot use them in our combos but would like to learn more...
  4. train The Wildcard!!!...

Dealing with Mana Vortex is as easy as Sacred Ground...

What other "likes" may you be talking about Nightstalkers?
  5. Mazzak Stylemongering Protodeity

Mana Maze is evil. It squashes my Greater Good deck!
  6. train The Wildcard!!!...

Run some of the "sac me to kill enchantment" elves...
  7. Mazzak Stylemongering Protodeity

    sideboard, naturally.
  8. train The Wildcard!!!...

Better Yet, Run Green's Disenchant base deck... Naturalize!!!
  9. Jigglypuff Big Cute Pink Thing

Well, I should have caught this one earlier.

    From Crystal Keep:

    * Does not affect the first spell played each turn. [Invasion FAQ 2000/10/03]
    * If a spell's color was changed while on the stack, use the color at the time it was when you started announcement, not as it currently is on the stack or as it was at the time it resolved. [D'Angelo 2000/10/14]

The Gnomes probably didn't help too much. :D

    (- Steve -)
  10. train The Wildcard!!!...

    So I was abusing the gnomes!!!... I'm a gnome-o-phile!!!...

Hey now - This worked up until 2000... Dam_ Maze!!!...

Thanks Puff... I hadn't even bothered looking up anything like that since the gnomes could change the spell on the stack!!!...
