So, where has he been... or have they kept the Shandalar storyline?

Where has he been from where? Way back from Ice Age or after Cold Snap?

Shandalar storyline supposedly had him posessing people and causing mayhem in the rich plane of Shandalar after escaping in Ice Age... He was then trapped in a rock or something and used as a power source to erect a barrier to keep people out of the plane.
