Hi again,

Every since the release of "Saga", I've been
trying to build a good Lifeline based deck.
Well, I've given up on A Type II version but
have this Multiplayer version that I need
some help with. I posted a variant of this
deck on The Dojo, about two months ago but no one seemed interested in pursuing anything
that wasn't tourney related.

I really like this deck but for some reason
it can't seem to tune it any further. I'm at a dead end. I ask for your help. What should
I change to make it better?

Here is the decklist:

4 Hunting Moa
4 Spike Feeder
4 Llanowar Elves
3 Wall of Blossoms
2 Spike Rogue
2 Spike Weaver
1 Junk Diver
1 Triskelion
1 Spike Breeder
1 Ticking Gnomes
1 Thorn Elemental
1 Veteran Explorer

3 Reclaim
3 Lifeline
3 Thumbscrews
3 Altar of Dementia
2 Dense Foliage

18 Forest
3 Treetop Village

That is how the deck looks now. I haven't
updated it for awhile.

Sometimes I put the Moa counters on the Village. If I understand the rules correctly
than the +1+1 counter will still be on it
the next time I make it a creature.

The Altar, Thumbscrews, Thorny and Triskelion
are my roads to victory.

All comments are welcome!
thanx

Btw, Does anyone think it is possible to make
a Type II Accelerated Green deck using the
Moa/Thorny/Lifeline Combo with Greater Good.

You might want to tighten it up a bit. I notice you've got a lot of 1's and 2's and 3's in your deck, and while they've all got some nice special abilities it's got to be a little frustrating to pull, for example, the Veteran Explorer when you've already got tons of land, and it helps your opponent besides.

If you like your deck this way, put in some Worldly Tutors. This way you'll be able to go get the creature you need NOW, and not have to wait for it to come up. You might want to try the Sylvan Library/Thawing Glaciers combo too, to try and get a little more situational selectivity.

Situational selectivity. I like that term. :D

Or you could try a Lifeline/Sneak Attack/Greater Good combo deck, with big honking Colossus' (Colossi?) and utility guys like Darwins and Academy Rectors. It'd be a little slow(!), but that's usually OK in casual play, and once it gets going...

TomB,

Thanks for the reply.

The thing about V.Explorer is the fact that
I'm milling all of my opponents and thay
never realize it. When they go get land from
thier decks it makes my Altar milling that
much better, where as I don't get much land
when I do it. Ofcourse, they'll have a "lot"
of land on the table to cast expensive spells
so its a trade off.

W.Tutor is a good idea. I should add a couple
I like using utility creatures because they
are fun under a Lifeline.

S.Library/T.Glacier is another great idea. I
should be playing with that to. I'll try to
work it in.

Once again thanks for the suggestion.
