Keep Watch

I just wanted to let everyone know how flipping broken this sucker is in Multiplayer.

One guy right now is playing it in our group, he's cast it 4 times (twice countered). Of the 2 successful resolutions of the spell he drew a total of 12 cards - as an instant!

Its blue's version of fog. "You know I'm playing Keep Watch, are you sure you want to attack?" Plus its just as good using it on your creatures as it is your opponents. I'm going to build a decklist with it right now.

When you can draw five cards fairly easily for one card, without any payment of life, it's good.

Very good.

How good is it? This is Blue's Congregate.

You can use Keep Watch on the offensive. Combo it with Rites of Initiation for real abuse, as in my Final Fires post. Decks that get out lots of creatures (5+) are set if they can get 2 or more creatures through.

Anyone want to know what to play against keep watch??

Plagiarize... They won't play it again if you have the mana open, I promise...
