Is White dead?

Looking at all these G/R "die! die! die!" decks and lots of Black "where's your hand, buddy?"...

I'm starting to think...what happened to White on Type 2?

Is it THAT weak?

Simply put, yes. White's big strengths have always been its enchantment/artifact removal, its cheap and efficient weenies, and its lifegain/protection. Well, its protection doesn't look so hot with all the life loss out there...its weenies have been badly neutered...and enchantment removal isn't much of a reason to splash white, when green can do the trick with a creature that's a 1/1 until you need its ability.

White isn't dead, but it sure is in a coma.
