Think it was because of the Unglued... That's the only different thing I know of that we've mentioned or has been sent your way... and she took a little liking to it...

The key now is to show that a couple of packs makes you pleased, but an entire box makes you delighted. Make sure that she understands that your happiness is proportionate to the number of packs you receive.
Of course, it couldn't hurt to try to teach her the game as well - I find that most anyone, when they give Magic a chance, enjoys it (at least at first).

It is clear you are loved.
Oh, she knows how much Magic delights me... she just usually doesn't get me any because of how it used to take up a lot of my time. Which is why it teeters on her dislike side - she just has bad memories of it competing with her. She knows the basics of how to play - I tried teaching her way back during Revised when we played one deck/common library. She just doesn't really like it.
Although she did like some of the Unglued cards; Knight of the Hokey Pokey was pretty funny to her
I'm still cataloging, but I got a Mindslaver and two Molder Slugs which make me think of building an anti-artifact deck for my Group play. Surprisingly, no Loxodon Warhammers (they're in Mirrodin, right), Lightning Greaves, or Isochron Scepters. I'm thinking the sorting is not that great for this set.

the sorting is definetly weird in mirrodin. I got 6 greaves in one box. so go figure(not that i'm complaining )

I feel your pain bro. I opened three boxes! Five isochron scepters, one foil (yea I was lucky), three loxodon warhammers and three lightning greaves. It feels like they're handing some of these uncommons out like rares.
I just opened three boxes of Darksteel and BARELY got four skullclamps. Completed my play sets with four packs to go I really should have pulled more then that being it's a smaller set and all.
I think the best deals on Ebay right now are probably the x4 Playsets of uncommons available. All uncommons from one set all x4..great way to solidify your collection.

no, I've got Onslaught, a few packs of Legeons, and a couple of Scourge.
Sadly, I'm stuck in the wasteland that is Mississippi with a degree in Recording Arts, and Noone who records has an opening right now, even if the person is Pro Tools Certified.
Sucks to be me, broke, unemployed, with student loan payments due...

Sorry. They're legal on free-flowing bodies of water over X amount deep(so it's the coast or on the river only, effectivly). I'd love to be able to get a job in a casino... but I'm in the middle of the landmass.
