I saw a link to this site on Salvation and the quality of the writing and the relevance of the topics really impressed me. That wasn't the only reason I joined, though. I recently realized competitive play wasn't as fun as I used to find it. It might be because I now need to take a 25 minute trip to tournaments, rather than 15, like I used to. It might be that the only tournaments I could find are T2 and extended instead of T1.5, and the groups of players are quite different than the ones I knew. Anyway, I figure casual can help me recapture the fun that I used to find in competition. I've always had a bit of a casual streak and I figure I might as well indulge it.
I'm tired of needing to play 'good' decks, if you know what I mean.
Also, I'd like to say that I'll try to be a good member of the CPA and contribute to the forums as much as possible.
