Goblin Sharpshooter

    All right, let's get this card analyzed to ell. Though most people agree the sharpshooter is a good card, I say it's also a three casting cost 1/1 goblin, which consequently means that its dorky enough for us CPA folk to analyze it. Anyway, some thoughts I have to get the ball rolling:

    Synergy with mogg fanatic. PING, sac the fanatic, PING. An easy three damage to one target if you need it, and if said damage takes out said target then the sharpshooter is all nice and untapped again.

    Combos with the new Kamahl. HAHAHA, this one is funny. Use the Green Kamahl to animate an opponent's land, ping it, and chuckle as the sharshooter untaps. Turns into a recursive engine where you only have to pay a mere one green to destroy target land. Pretty strong, if it weren't for that whole Kamahl costs 6 mana problem. Still........
  2. train The Wildcard!!!...

    4 damage... - Attack then ping then sac then ping... if they have a 1/1 blocker you can do 1 to it and 3 to them... a 2/2 - 2 to it and 2 to them.. a 3/3 - 3 to it and 1 to them...

    That's pretty dang efficient...

    With R/G having the speed it does - Kamahl is not that big a deal...

    Have also great synergy with skirk prospector or goblin bombardment. Or goblin gardener.
    And of couse lots of infinite comboes involving sacrifice...

    Only creatures I saw that tap for one Dmg is Anaba Shaman, Chainflinger, Jeska Warrior Adept, Kris Mage or Mage il-Vec. I might be wrong, though.

    You forgot some of the ones that tap for two, like Reveka, Wizard Savant. I've got a list somewhere on my computer of every tim in existence... I'll see if I can dig it up.

    Goblin Sharpshooter is a beast in multiplayer. Play Living Plane, take out everyone's land, then take out all of the creatures with 1 toughness, and kill loads of people if you have two out (tap to ping opponent, tap to ping land, both untap).

    In multiples, it usually means game. With Goblin Warrens and Goblin Bombardment (yey goblins!) its almost guaranteed game.
