its pretty tough to create a creature based on lands that hasnt been done before..
we first had wood elemental which sucked.. the seedlings which are only good offensively.. the uktabi's which are pretty badass.. and recently the traproot kami which is o.k.

This golem seems a little better...

pay 6 mana for a 5/5 trampler... not too bad for green..

one of them involves paying the cost initially, which you could work around
the 2nd has an upkeep.. which i think may be pretty crappy..

perhaps if i keep the upkeep ill make him like 1+*/2+* that way

G: 2/3 with upkeep 1
1G: 3/4 with upkeep 2
2G: 4/5 with upkeep 3
3G: 5/6 with upkeep 4

which all in all is roughly cheaper than a force of nature.. except force if always 4, this could be 10...

Oversoul

The Tentacled One
The first one is way powerful. You can drop it first turn and it's a 1/1 for G. Then it grows with each forest you drop, which in some decks could be a lot...

I think i've figured it out...

he's now a 2/2 for G, but an upkeep of half the number rounded up...
and bonuses rounded down.. if hes a 1/2 it kinda sucks.

this way its like this

if hes a 2/2

1 forest in play, upkeep of 1, 2/2 (worse than a pouncing jaguar, echo every turn)
2 forests in play, upkeep of 1, 3/3(optimal)
3 forests in play, upkeep of 2, 3/3
4 forests in play, upkeep of 2, 4/4(optimal)
5 forests in play, upkeep of 3, 4/4
6 forests in play, upkeep of 3, 5/5 (optimal)
7 forests in play, upkeep of 4, 5/5
8 forests in play, upkeep of 4, 6/6

playing a creature for G, with an upkeep of 3 for a 4/4 trampler is badass
playing a creature for G, with an upkeep of 3 for a 5/5 trampler is badass

if he's a 1/2

1 forest in play, upkeep of 1, 1/2
2 forests in play, upkeep of 1, 2/3(optimal)
3 forests in play, upkeep of 2, 2/3
4 forests in play, upkeep of 2, 3/4(optimal)
5 forests in play, upkeep of 3, 3/4
6 forests in play, upkeep of 3, 4/5 (optimal)

im debating about making him a 2/1..
Genju of the spires essentially costs 3 every upkeep for a 4/4 (since it occupies a land, and you pay 2). It does come back to your hand.. (1 ability) which i think could replace the trampler (another ability)

as a 1/2 its much worse than genju
as a 2/2 its the same as genju if you control 5 forests
as a 2/1 its better than a genju if you control 6 forests (5/3=4/4)

I like the second card the best so far. With the upkeep cost you basicly can only play 1 mana spells for that turn.
