its pretty new.. its been given a name now.. i posted this a million years ago in text format..
Not sure about the Mirror mechanic, about how it can be any card. Maybe it needs to share a color with the original spell or something... otherwise, I think the mechanic in general can potentially be abused with "unimportant" cards, like land cards (depending on what other spells might have Mirror).

very true... my original idea was that you had to remove a black card.. but that would kind of kill the... actuall i could just word it to still say "remove one card of the same color".. sweet... the original concept can stay!! 
its slightly wordy in the reminder text...
but it reads
Target player discards a card.
Mirror 1 (You may reveal this card
and remove one card of the same color
in your hand from the game to put a
