Quick Question: Since dual lands are part basic, can I search for them with Land Tax? Spidey said no, but I've seen other people in these games do basic-restricted moves with them. I'm just a bit confused.

I just noticed I got off on my hand count early... I had 5 cards when you balanced (before casting capsize which would have evened us at 4)... so, you didn't have to discard your land... as an fyi... if don't think it would change anything...
As for the wording on Land Tax, it says BASIC land cards, and as far as I know Scrubland is not a basic land card - it just counts as a swamp & a plains... I don't know if others are misplaying it... in the past our group used to allow it... but that was a long time ago...
Either way, I will capsize your mox diamond again at your eot... (with buyback)... my turn will be untap, draw, go.
