I don't know how "teams" works either - I usually play 2HG... or emporer when we had 6 players...

My guess is it's just that team members don't attack one another and they try to eliminate the other players. I don't think we share mana pools or life totals - and since it isn't 2hg, i don't think you can block for one another... I also think it's last team standing - so to win both players from the opposition must be eliminated.

So it's like a regular game, except both team members need to be knocked out.... OK, works for me.
We usually combine life totals and the team loses when their life total hits zero.
I say we do it BB's way this time.

If you combine life totals, that's pretty much 2HG.

I've always played this "team way" as BB describes it, where we're each our own player but we just can't attack each other and try to help out if the other is in trouble.
