Is it possible there is a wicked control deck beggining here? This reminds me of tradewind rider...alot.

Thoughts?

He could be pretty powerful in a Wizard theme deck. I used him in the Wizard deck I built a couple of days ago. You would need a lot of Wizards so you could use his ability a couple of times per turn.

Personally I still like Puppeteer better, but the Grifter has its uses since its much better with the Prodigy than the Puppeteer. Its too vulnerable (and not strong enough) to be the centerpiece of a deck, but the ability will never be useless in what could be a strong control deck. Still, 2U is a lot for a 1/1.

Out of nowhere - Train casts Breaking Nose(at concede speed)... and alas, The grifter never hits the table...;)
