A good sequal to fallen empires.

hey all you CPAers out there! :)

This for all the people who liked the Fallen Empires set or at least some of the creature types in it. I want to make an expansion of the same fashion as FE, but better. I want to use all the cool old creature types like Dwarves, Orcs, Thallids, Thrulls, Homarids, and so forth.
So what I want from you is input for cool card ideas that would actually fit the flow, creature types that would be good to use in it, and that kind of thing.

The set will be the same size as the original Fallen Empires, or at least close to it and every color will have 2 major races to represent it. Other than that however, I'm just gonna wing it. :D

I didn't like Fallen Empires much, but the creature types were cool. I'll spend school tomorrow thinking up cards... If I don't forget. This is OGG you know. =P

I would definitely make inclusion of Dwarves a necessity. WotC has been cracking down on Dwarves, and blast it, I want to see some more. They haven't printed one since WEATHERLIGHT!! They even went so far as to take Dwarven Warriors out of the base set! I am appalled.

Here are some ideas:

Dwarven Battlerager, 1RR
Creature--Dwarf

If Dwarven Battlerager is blocked, it gets +3/+0 and trample until end of turn.

[This is what Dwarven Berserker SHOULD have been, so I am improving on my favorite card...]

Dwarven Patriarch, 1R
Creature--Dwarf

When Dwarven Patriarch goes to a graveyard from play, all Dwarves get +1/+1 until end of turn.
Sacrifice Dwarven Patriarch: All Dwarves get +1/+1 until end of turn.

Dwarven Bodyguard, R
Creature--Dwarf
1/1
T: Regenerate Dwarven Bodyguard

Dwarven Priest, 1WR
Creature--Dwarf Cleric
1/3
Sacrifice Dwarven Priest: Prevent all damage that would be dealt to any Dwarves until end of turn.

Subterranean Ambush, RR
Sorcery
Bury all creatures with Mountainwalk.

Ancestral Armor, RR
Enchant Creature
Ancestral Armor may only enchant Dwarves.
Enchanted Creature gets +X/+X where X is the number of mountains you control.

[Fair in normal sets, but if there are enough Dwarves in this set, it'll be undercosted.]

How can you forget merfolk. They are more merfolk(11) in FE then there are homarids(only 4)

I was thinking about using merfolk, but they still have stuff made for them normally in the current sets and I wanted to try and utilize creature types that got stepped on and ignored, so homarids were my initial choice for blue.

As for mechanics, probably just the basic "classic" ones and one or two other.

There were lots of merfolk from the Rath Cycle, or some anyway. I will try Thallids and Thrulls.

+2/+2 and Trample if blocked
by a black creature.

Mold Thallid, 1G
Creature - Fungus Wall
0/1, Prevent all damage done to MT by creatures. All creatures blocked by MT don't untap during controllers next phase.
"Blast this sticky mold! Does it TRY to impede us?", Unknown Elf. (?)

Thrullid, 1GB
Creature - Thrull Fungus
2/2, Put Spore counter on Thrullid during upkeep. Remove 3 Spore counters, deal 1 damage to any target. Remove 3 counters, Regenerate. Remove 3 counters, +1/+1 until turn ends.
"Uh oh. They're merging!!" Icatian Soldier, last words.

These are just ideas, I might do more later if I'm too bored.

Ok, this set idea is really quickly expanding into just more than a sequal to fallen empires. Too many ideas to just ignore them all. So if anyone who wants to help could do me a big favor and put in 2 maybe 3 races for each color. Preferably a good and an evil one for the colors that can do it, obviously black and white kinda can't.

Heres what I've chosen so far for creature types in each color.

White: Townsfolk, Unicorns/Pegesai, Heros
Red: Dwarves!! :D , Orcs, Gargoyals or dragons for the third, haven't decided yet.
Black: Demons, Drow, Necromancers
Green: Sprites/Pixies, Treefolk, haven't picked a third yet
Blue: Merfolk (by popular demand), Pirates, Wizards

Any suggestions for the third red or green creature type?
Any more suggestions in general?
feel free to post card ideas here for these creature types to help me out too. ^_^

gargoyles, ura.. too many dragons. remember everyone wanted to make a gargoyle deck for the tourney but there werent enough floating around?

and jake will start to stutter if you make another dragon.

"hey nick, got any dragons?"

"why not?"

3rd green race MUST be Thallids/Saprolings. NO two ways about it, they're just too cool. Also, how about some Kjeldoran Outpostish lands for each color. Like this:

When Orcish Encampment comes into play, sacrifice an untapped mountain or sacrifice it.
RR,T: Put an Orc token into play. Treat this token as a 2/1 Creature with haste.
T: Add R to your mana pool.

Also, how about a a Lord and a legendary Lord for each type:

My orcish warlord is almost identical to that except he doesn't give pro white.
Thallids were my idea too, they're just too cool. :)
And don't worry, I'm gonna try to do a gold legend for each race if I can. :)

Oog: The reason I didn't pick thrulls is cause I though Drow would be cooler and more fun to work with since they haven't been done before. :)
Plus I wasn't planning to do reprints in this set, but they could be easily added in.
