As you play Alliance, choose a color.
W : Add one mana of the chosen color to your mana pool. Any player may play this ability.
Pay one mana of the chosen color : Add W to your mana pool. Any player may play this ability.
Sacrifice a white permanent or a permanent of the chosen color : Destroy Alliance. Any player may play this ability.



So, basically, Alliance makes white and one color have interchangeable mana. If your opponent plays either color, they can immediately kill Alliance, though.

The ability for anybody to make the mana of the chosen color is sorta pointless if your opponent isn't playing white, no? Still, fits nicely into the latest theme to bring back multicolored decks.

I don't find it a particularly a great card, but it would see some tournament play.
