Ive been smoking for nearly 6 years and do not like it. Although I know im addicted its very hard to cold turkey it..I ve tired many o times but I cant. I KNOW its bad, It will kill me in some shape or form but there something I DO DO. I respect others when Im smoking. I do not smoke in the house, in the car with the kids, at restraunts...I smoke alone in the car (unless someone else smokes), smoke outside 99.9 % of the time..the .1% is in the Bars and Strip Clubs and Casinos. However you will see me outside tournaments. ive also curbed smoking...normally I go throught 4 packs a week sometimes 5..now its; down to 3 packs a week.
Ive already had 3 cigs this morning so I guess Im not participating in the smoke out thing...if I would have known a head of time....hmm.
Dont start. it's Stupid...im stupid. Tanks.

The people I really can't stand are those ignorant MF that decide, after years of smoking, that it's actually the tobacco companies fault, and decide to sue them.
Note: I am talking about grown men and women. I know in some way the companies are evil for getting kids hooked early but still.....it really ticks me off when I see people not taking responsibity for their own actions.

I used to smoke, started back in grade 9 in high school. Its an icky habit and I'm glad I was able to quit, almost 5 years ago now. 
Regime, I feel your pain. I quit cold turkey and it sucked.

4-20 is suposedly a very high quality form of hemp. This of course was also the day of the colombine shoot out, Hitlers birthday, and I heard a rumor about there being another shooting today in Pennslvainia...

Well there are actually many meanings for 4-20 which have been said here. It's the Pothead's New Year, Hitler's birthday, the Great American Smokeout, international code word for Marijuana, anniversary of the Columbine Shooting, and probably many other things. But mostly, it refers to Marijauna.

This is actually a timely topic for today. April 20 is known as the "stoner new year" because of the ubiquity of the number 420 in marijuana culture. The urban legend says that 420 is either police code for pot-smoking in progress or the number of compounds in THC, the actual drug in the marijuana leaves. Actually, according to High Times Magazine, the simpler explanation is that 4:20pm was the time set for the daily meeting of the stoners of San Rafael High School in 1971, and the number has spread from there.

My grandmother smoked. She died of lung cancer 3 months b4 i was born. my mom said that she took 1 puff of one of my grandmother's cigarettes, nearly puked, and then never touched a cigarette again.
I don't intend to ever touch a cigarette or anything else of the sort. I have the same philosophy as Zadok.

I know that it is dangerous.
It killed ALL of my grandparents, and will probably kill me, my brothers and my father.
Ya know what? ...I don't care. I will never be on of those idiots who pretend they didn't know it was harmfull and join in on a class-action lawsuit. How can any sane person not know that inhaling smoke into the lungs over and over is harmfull.
I realize the risks, but that smooth smoking goodness is just too mellow to give up. Plus, it goes great with drinking, which is how I started in the first place.
Now, years hence, I've quit drinking, but the smoking remains.
Of all my past drug use, and I do not lie when I say I've tried almost every recreational chemical out there, I know deep down that I will never quit smoking tobacco.
Be proud of your vices ladies and gentlemen! They speak a lot about who who are, and not always, if ever, poorly.
