-4 Last-Ditch Effort, +4 Trumpet Blast

GBGOGGGG Variant 2 (Dome-Damage)

Lands (same)
Creatures:
-4 Mogg Flunkies, +4 Mogg Bombers
Spells:
-4 Blood Lust, +4 Mob Justice :)

Basically the root deck is your basic Sped Red or quickie red-weenie deck, Variant1 uses more creatures and less direct damage, and Variant2 throws moe direct damage to the dome. What do you think?

In case your deck goes slow, how about Coat of Arms, say maybe two of them.

Have you got the Goblin Lord listed, I've forgot it's name, I think it's the Goblin Marshall listed in the other reply.

Goblin Marshall? You mean the SIX-mana echo guy from Destiny? Why?

Incidentally...

Lose 2 Goblin Offensive (you do NOT want this in your opening hand), Orcish Oriflamme (too costly for what it does), Rites of Initiation, and Trumpet Blast.

Try this uncommon from Urza's Legacy:

Ghitu War Cry (2R)
Enchantment
R: Target creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.

Gives all of your creatures firebreathing...almost guarantees that they kill anything that blocks them, and/or lets whatever gets through hit hard.

Isty...Its cos you`ve got Lackeys in.
Although when John played the deck originally it was before any of those cards were printed so he no Lackeys, or Matrons, or Marshalls, or Mutants.

But SURELY you`ve heard of LackeyMarshall Sligh?

Some of the 2cc guys should be 1cc, btw. Prolly Mogg Raider.

It's not that the deck goes slow, persay, but it's just that...
It runs out of gas every so often. Like, I'll end up with a Goblin raider in play, and my opponent will have a 1/3, and all i'm drawing is land for 3 turns, and then i stall, and he wins.

I've changed the deck though...

I always forgot about the Lackeys when playing vs. Sligh in the Urza days. Interestingly enough, a Lackey seldom hit me. Fortunate Lackeys got to drop one buddy and one only before I popped them .
They stopped showing up in decks around here.
