Dear NeuroDeus,

The first Magic Player Rewards mailing is complete! Thousands of Magic:
the Gathering players around the world have now received the first batch
of token cards and premium Wastelands. We have already begun preparation
for the next mailing, and want to pass on the details.

The next File Creation Date is set for Tuesday, September 11. All
sanctioned tournaments that are received and processed between your Start
Date and this File Creation Date will be counted toward your next Player
Reward mailing. This means that you may want to encourage your tournament
organizer(s) to submit any pending event reports as soon as possible. If
you have any questions about how we calculate the number of token and
premium cards we will send you, check out the Magic Player Reward FAQ at
www.wizards.com/magicrewards/FAQ.

We have received several questions about the number of token and premium
cards that were sent in the first mailing. Some players believed they
should have received more cards based on the number of events reported in
their match history. What we found is that many of the tournaments listed
in player's match history were not submitted in time to be included in the
first mailing, even though the event occurred weeks prior to the mailing.
Remember that only reported and processed events count toward a Rewards
mailing. Also remember that if a tournament is reported too late to be
counted toward one Rewards mailing, it will count toward another mailing,
depending on when it is received. Again, more details about this can be
found at www.wizards.com/magicrewards/FAQ.

This is also reminder that we will add three new token cards to the
available mix of cards for the next Player Rewards mailing. These three
cards will feature creatures from the upcoming Odyssey set.

The initial response to Magic Player Rewards has been overwhelmingly
positive. If you have any comments or questions about the program, please
let us know at dci@wizards.com. On behalf of the entire DCI, I thank you
again for your participation in DCI sanctioned events and Magic Player
Rewards.

Sincerely,

John Grant

I find it kinda scary that they know how to do that... I may just crap me pants ;)

DCI is the slowest organization besides the Royal Navy (who took 8 YEARS to get to the FAUKLAND ISLANDS) in the history of mankind when it comes to technology.

Hey, Almindhra and I know John Grant, personally. He once traded a couple of Forbids to me and in return asked that I be kind to other Magic players :). He is a real cool guy and WizCo. should be proud to have him on their team!

Now, if only Ally could get him to leak info. on Odyessy.......;).

That's a form-email.

It substituted your name for one space-- the rest was IDENTICAL to mine!

If they ever wanted to spam... ooh mama! watchout!

The Royal Navy also took until 1988 to remove the from their payroll the family assigned to watch the horizon for Napoleon's navy, but that's another matter... :)

Sounds like a good deal to me, although I haven't a clue if I qualified for anything. I KNOW I will next time, though... :)
