I am thinking of putting a deck like this together. But I think you need to have 5 or 6 good counterspells to stop the mass removal that your prevention doesn't

I've been toying around with a UW protection deck for IBC, the basic ideas being shifting skies and an acolyte to make all your creatures unblockable on demand and safe from all forms of permanents.

Beyond that, Choosing red makes life easier because it solves the terminate issue and the UW bear has protection from red, so you don't need acolyte mana. After that i stumbled onto the idea of teferi's moat which works rather well with Shifting Skies :) .

Another plus is silver drake's gating ability gets negated, so you get a 3/3 flyer for 3, no drawback.

For a more general protection deck, i'd reccommend distorting lens as well. It's half the cost of blind seer and black can do little about it, so you can fizzle banishing effects by making creatures black.

i did think of sitorting lens
but wif only 1 in my folder and the fact that it could only be use once each time, it shows a lack of use.
blind seer let's me use the ability every time even if shackles is on it.
the main prob i face now is mass removal or mass destruction and land destruction
need some help on facing those deck
counterspell seems to be a way but could u ppl help me subsitude out the cards in deck for the new cards
meddling mage is already in the sideboard
need more comment

You could always put them in but I think the counters would be better. You can take out the wings of hope. shifting skies makes them red and they fall off your creatures

You definitely need six or seven more counterspells in here, to deal with things that will wreck your deck.

Sheltering Prayers is great SB vs. land destruction, as is Sacred Ground if it really is back in 7th.
