Hello everyone, its me! Your local furry animal and cat person with a survey for you. I'm just doing some marketing research on magic and games in general and wanted you to help me out.
So please try and fill in the questions, I'll try and keep it short and hope this is ok for this forum. ~_^

1. Too much. Not sure really, it depends on the month. Usually, ~20-40$, based on the number of drafts we do.

2. I buy boosters at my local shops, cards on Ebay, and boxes whereever they're cheapest online.

3. I perfer boxes, but buy boosters more often.

4. Nopes.

5. Nah. My friends loan me their's on the rare occassion that I decide to play.

WAY too much, ranging from $15 - $100

Mostly at local shops in drafts.

I prefer boxes but it's too concentrated of an expense.
4) Do you buy other ccg's besides magic, Y/N?
I buy DBZ, and have in the past bought at least something from most of them.

Yes, I have almost every Storyteller core book and own lots of AD&D.

DCI
7) Do you ever buy magic single cards?
Not often, but it's been known to happen

Mostly on the net, Dwarven Berserker isn't usually on display in stores...
9) If you have a local game shop or place to buy magic, is it important that they have playing space available?
Yes, very.

On the rare occasions I do buy Magic, it's usually over the net (unless a new set has come out, when I buy some boosters at the store)

Actually, I mostly buy singles and win packs in small tournaments

Yup. That's the only time I ever get to play.

2) Do you buy magic at a local shop or on the net?I used to go to this really crappy local place where I had to explain 27 times what it was I wanted (they kept the Magic cards behind the counter, and the store people didn't know the difference between boosters, precon decks, and tournament packs..), but then I discovered online shopping..
3) Do you prefer sealed boxes or just buying a couple boosters every now and then? I bought a whole big box of Invasion (had to split it with my brother, though), because the set is so darn cool, but it's fun to buy boosters now and then, too.. so basically I do some of both

Side note : I buy from the local shop BECAUSE he has playspace available and he needs som kind of support. I know I pay 20$ more on a sealed box than online but hey, you have to support your local commerce, and it is the only place I can play

1) For packs, singles, tournaments, sleeves, etc., around $200 a month - more when new releases come out (I usually get 2-3 boxes).
2) I by locally and nationally.
3) I like boxes when they are released, and then singles and few boosters each week.
4) Nope. No vices other than Magic. (Well, there is that fixation w/ Wendy's spicy chicken sandwiches.)
5) Nope. I played in high school, but I don't have time now.
6) I have a DCI number, and play in 15-20 sanctioned tournaments a year, including PTQs, pre-releases, etc.
7) I buy singles.
8) Where I can find them.
9) If I play, I try to buy something out of courtesy. If more people did this, more retailers might provide play space.

3) I buy one box of each expansion, and about a dozen extra boosters of the large sets (MM and Invasion).
4) No. Used to play Star Wars and interested in MLB Showdown, though.

6) DCI number that I lost a few months ago.
7) Yes. Lots of them.

9) Not really. I usually don't have enough time to play at shops.
