Fading is even less original...

Everyone said that Fading was a rework of Cumulative Upkeep. Not true. It first appeared in Unglued...

When you play Temp of the Damned, roll a six-sided die. Temp of the Damned comes into play with a number of funk counters on it equal to the die roll. During your upkeep, remove a funk counter from Temp of the Damned or sacrifice Temp of the Damned.

Now this would be written (I think):

Fading X
When ~this~ is played, roll a 6-sided die. The result of the roll determines X.

thanks for posting that little info tidbit for all of the ignorant type 2 player(except orgg) I was surprised he didn't know about that:rolleyes:.I first learned about that card at the nemisis prerelease in atlanta, ga. :D

I saw that card again in an unglued pile for sale at a card shop in atlanta.
(but didn't have any money left to get it or infernal spawn of evil):(

I knew about that (Unglued is the BEST set ever!), but I don't think it makes Fading unoriginal really...

I'm crazy, just ask anyone who's met me personally...

Um, fading is not at all a rework of cumulative upkeep. It goes in X turns, no matter how much mana you have...

Oh, and I don't count unglued because:
A: It's a set made for a joke
B: It's a horrible set!

I disagree. How can any set that contains cards called "Goblin Bookies" and "Squirrel Farm" be bad?
