Any suggestiosn on this one? I can think of more Leonin Den-Guards, perhaps more Fireshriekers.

Also, it may seem like a mishmashof creatures up there...I chose a few of them because of Equipment or Artifact-related abilities, but many of the creatures are, as per a friend's suggestion, cheap bases to attach my Equipment to.

Oracle text: Equipped creature gets +3/+0, has trample, and has “Whenever this creature deals damage, you gain that much life.”
Equip 3 (3: Attach to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery.)

This was originally an uncommon in the Mirrodin set and now is a rare in 9E. Smash and gain life. Rinse. Repeat.

Mooseman

Isengar Tussle
Loxodon Gatekeeper
2WW 2/3 creature
Artifacts, creatures, and lands your opponents control come into play tapped.

It may be a little more expensive than your other creatures, but it can give you time.

Leonin Abunas 3W 2/5 Cat Cleric
Artifacts you control can't be the targets of spells or abilities your opponents control.

May be good.

Taj-Nar Swordsmith and Staunch Defenders are both more expensive creatures, I took my friend's advice to mean that I should *mainly* have cheap creatures. :)
Some of those cards are nice, but I wish I had more of a budget for lots of cool rares. :p
