Amazing Synergy with Spore Frog and recursion.
Fast beef, Untargeted removal, fog effects.
Very effective, very fun.

Once you hit 5 mana, spore frog/bottle gnome/lyrist every turn.

Recycle Harbingers of night to repeatedly clear the board.
Bone shredders to kill creatures.

If someone is trying to target your spore frog: sacrifice it to remove it as a legal target

If someone counters or makes you discard spore frog, use oath of ghouls, crossroads, corpse, or tortured to retrieve him.

If someone tries to remove him from your graveyard, use either corpse dance, tortured existence, or crossroads to make it so they can't target him.

If you want to get sick you could add eternal witnesses.

Mortuary+Foster, if you sac 1 frog, pay 1, play a 2nd creature.

not 1 for 1.. but makes it easy to get recurring creatures in a loop. If you get sick of mortuary, pop it with a lyrist.

actually yea.

I would have to use him with tortured existence.. but it would end up being almost a cheaper but less stealth corpse dance..

Plus you can use the ability of tortured existence and not return any creature.

T1: Swamp, Exist
T2: Forest, Spore frog, pay B discard genesis.
T3: Swamp,
by turn 4 you have an alternate..

hmm, i bet i could run 2. I just have no idea what to replace.

these are the only potentials i see.

Thanks! It's performed really well against many decks.. discard and counter are my FAVORITE to play against..

they never stop one of the best cards in the deck... tortured existence.. that or they can't.

Harbinger OWNS!!!! play him... wait... all 1/1's die... then all 2/2's then all.. wait.. all 3/3's.. then 4/4's.. ok.. ill wait a couple more turns..



I remember when i stoped my friend's astral slide deck and the next day he had almost a duplicate using oversold cemeteries instead of oaths.. i was so peeved...

it works really well, synergy is nuts.
Continous reset buttons might hurt a lot.

I'd add Mindslicer - for more beef and discard...

You might also sideboard ground seals so no one can remove your graveyards - if they get smart enough to do so...

I love mindslicer... might try a couple.. i'm torn though...

cause corpse dance would work well... but it would hurt my oath..

I played against a deck very similar to this at FNM not too long ago and it rocked! Really fun deck. The guy who played it used Keeper of the dead for extra board control and a couple of Wirewood Guardians for mana consistency and finisher. I think a couple of Spike feeders were in there too.

hmmm.. guardians eh? i might try that. with an oath out of just with a tortured, i'd gain land quicker than with a elder. For every 3 id gain a land.....

hmmm....

ok i think elder's out for good replaced with 2 wirewood guardians.
