Brain Freeze Deck?

I picked up 4 Brain Freeze the other day so I've been trying to
come up with a deck to use them in. Below is a rough draft of
the idea that's been floating around in my head for a few day's.
The idea's pretty simple, play Aluren, a man o' war or a drake
and "freeze" your opponent out.

Rules Question: (kind of unrelated to deck idea)can creatures
with morph be play face down for free when Aluren is in play?

(Disclaimer: Deck meant for casual play.)

No - Aluren allows you to play them for free if their converted "mana cost" is 3 or less...

Morph is a static ability that allows you to play the creature for "3", face down... etc...

You cannot use Aluren when playing a creature using another alternate means, such as the Morph ability. [WotC Rules Team 2002/10/01]

The deck looks good to start with - but then turns blue...

I think Vision charms might be good also - Vision charm you for 4, Vision charm you for 4, vision charm you for 4, charm you for 4, brian freeze for 15, Brain freeze for 18, Brain freeze for 21, brian freeze for 24...

Ouch!...

I was also trying to come up with a Tendil's(sp)/Aluren deck
but can not find and black gaters. Idea's, thought's, ?

Cavern Harpy would work with the Tendrils...

But it's also blue...

Sure, .....anyone can post there decklist, variant or whatever.

I would suggest trying to squeeze in some Millstones, as time has shown they are wonderful for...milling? Their reusability is what makes them worth it.

And, they cost 2, making them great counterparts for your storm stuff.

A friend and I built something like this relying on:

Dream Halls
Burning Wish
Card Drawers like Concentration
cards letting you untap, like Treachery and Time Spiral

and few others to go off quickly...pretty brutal. If your interested I'm sure I can scrounge a deck list.
